What's your admission and how do I support?

The admission price to any Marsapalooza event is $20. Children ages 6-12 are $10 and Children ages 5 and under are free.

Marsapalooza only sells wrist bands at the door for now.  Wristbands allow you to come and go as you please and unlimited access to everything within the venue pending restrictions.


Who needs a wristband?

Everyone in the building will be wrist-banded excluding staff, guests, and vendors, which will have special badges with lanyards.

Can I treat someone to come out even if i can't make it?

Yes, but its not yet set up to do so. I will be working on this soon!

 


Do you offer refunds on admission?

Wristband admission is non-refundable, but may be credited to enter a future Marsapalooza event, Events are monthly and calendar can be seen HERE.

 


Does Marsapalooza offer group discounts?

We'll marinate on that. Right now it's a no, but it isn't ruled out.

 


someone paid for my admission. how can i claim it?

Thats awesome! if the person is at the venue already, I just need verification from that person.

When can I pick up a wristband? What are the hours?

You can get your wristbands the day of the event at the front with staff. Event times for wristband admission is from 12-7pm. Event ends at 8pm.

 


is the venue wheelchair accessible?

The venue is wheelchair accessible; However there is no access to visit the basement level for the full experience. We are working on a way to get this going.

 


Can I pick up a badge for another individual?

No, you can not smoke or vape in the venue. please go out front.

Where to eat around the venue?

Working on a full area-wide menu around the venue for good eats. We support local when we can and you should too!

is there a lost and found?

Anything in the lost and found will be turned in to a staff member during the event and after its over. All things lost will be photographed and posted in our discord.

Please coordinate with a staff member to retrieve your lost items.

 


What's your code of conduct?

We've never really had any issues with event CoC but we are more than inclined to make one for the fairness of our attendees across the board.

Can I Vape/use my e-cigarette in the venue?

No, you can not smoke or vape in the venue. please go out front. Please try to be mindful of the guests coming in and preferably partake downwind.

what is marsapalooza exactly?

Marsapalooza is an interactive, popup retro console arcade and video club based in Baltimore, Maryland. Since 2015 has been specializing in unique and fun games, tournaments & challenges, custom arcade setups and home brews, and chances to play on some of the most rare/forgotten home consoles in a chill Vaporwave aesthetic.

 

Marsapalooza gaming events for all-age groups. Some events are age-specific depending on the venue and geared but not limited to the video game community, cosplay community, musicians, artists, and competitive gamers.​

where can i attend events?

Marsapalooza Arcade events are held year round in Baltimore proper on a monthly basis. Some events are seasonal or one-off events, and will be posted HERE.​

what can i expect at these events?

Marsapalooza provides an escape from today's reality with the combination of classic video & board games, compilations of retro commercials & movies, and a combination of Vaporwave, Synthwave, & ambient chill gaming music. Also could have live music from time to time. Helping to bring back memories from your youth and be able to bridge the gap between people of all generations and uplift the people around you as well as yourself through means of classic gaming, music, and television and movies.

origins

Marsapalooza was founded in 2009 as a nerd/JPOP/cybergoth dance party and centered around selling MARSLOX a series of cybergothic hair extensions, which began in 2006. It was then rebranded and changed to Marsapalooza: Arcade as the vision of the dance party shifted towards the interest in a video game party with the influence and attending the known gaming festival MAGfest in 2011.
